GNOCCHI ANGELI & DEMONI

True to the Italian principle of balance, our Gnocchi is a dish inspired by Michelangelo’s journey to Florence, where he dined at some of Italy’s finest establishments. There, he encountered a gnocchi dish so unforgettable, he knew it had to make its way back to New Zealand.

Potato gnocchi is laid on a bed of creamy stracciatella, topped with parmesan, fresh oregano, and a touch of heat from chilli. A sprinkle of crispy guanciale adds the final note, creating a balance of light and bold flavors, much like the ‘angel’ and ‘demon’ that give this dish its name.
